Merry Christmas.

Last time I was in Chicago, I ran to Disney store and picked up the rest of the characters. I didn't buy Donald, because he looked depressed and she of course said, "Well where's Donald?"

Cealy calls this Santa's Park. Santa brought this in his sleigh (mighty big sleigh) so Ceal's seems to think it is Santa's on loan.

A little indoor trampoline. No big deal. I wish I could jump on it! The weight limit is 100lbs and I don't remember the last time I was that weight...

Their playroom is unreal. Cealy's art room is next door where she can draw on just about anything. And Danny thought this would be the perfect spot for a bar...

We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus roughly 1,000 times. Now if I asked whose birthday is was we were celebrating, Cealy sure did say someone besides Jesus. What don't we get about it being Jesus's birthday?

Could he be any cuter?

I LOVE my little man. He gets up at night now around 2am and cries until I get up and hold him! He will stop crying the second I pick him up. And he cries until 3 or 4 in the morning if I don't bring him to bed with me! He will wrap his arms around my hand so I cannot put him down. Who can resist him?

He loves the bath! He could be screaming, and if you put him in the bath he just smiles and kicks!

Sebastian is trying baby food! I feed him oatmeal with squash or carrots. He is a big boy so the doctor had us start early with food.

Sebastian is 4 months!

"Brother is my best friend." Cealy says this about 20 times a day.

My little man is 4 months old. I absolutely love this age. We had a doctor's appointment yesterday with shots. He is 95% in height (26 1/2 inches) and 95% in weight (17 pounds 13 ounces). This is why it is a struggle to hold little man all day! And he loves to be held! He was getting up around 6 times a night wanting his pacifier and I was getting little sleep. He can't breathe very hard sleeping on his back flat, so I elevated the crib with a pillow under the sheet. This is helping a lot!

He talks, smiles all day, laughs, and snuggles. I get asked a lot, "Is he an easy baby?" Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Babies are not easy. They are a lot of work. They need love and attention. They need to be fed every 3 hours, and you have to be careful holding them. It is stressful. So all you teens out there, don't even think about it. There are NO easy babies. And if you think it is easy, step up your game and give the little one some attention.

Cealy loves the ER.

"Mommy, that was so much fun!"

You might think I took her to the zoo, Children's Museum, or a park. Oh No. We went to the Emergency Room, because she decided to drink anticeptic hand wash. By the time I got to her it was all over her and she was screaming. I called the Poison Help Line and after they listened to her dry heaving, they told me to get to the ER as fast as I could. The woman wanted to send an ambulance, but I thought I could get there faster so I threw Cealy in the car with a diaper on, no socks, shoes, coat, or anything that would make me look like a mother who had it together. I won't even go into my attire, but I will tell you when Danny saw me there, he was the up most embarrassed.

After we got there, and they checked her vitals and Auntie Aisha came running in, she asked, "Where is Sebastian?" "Oh he is with the neighbor that heard my screams, and I don't have her number." As if social services was happy with my mothering skills in this case, they were probably taken back that my infant was with someone I have NO number to. (My neighbor is a Peach, and did a great job!) I am the person who doesn't leave my children with anyone except family, which leaves me to do little when they are unavailable, but I failed that test miserably this time.

They let us go when Cealy's x-ray was clear. Cealy was jumping on the hospital bed, and screamed when I took off her princess gown (hospital gown). When we left, Cealy said, "Mommy, that was so much fun." Super. I had a sinus infection, ear infection, and felt like a car hit me, but Cealy had a blast.

I will be waking up from now on, and brushing my hair, teeth, maybe washing my face, and getting some appropriate clothes on. You may wonder why I don't do this normally, but my children get up at 5am and I spend an hour trying to get them back to sleep before I stumble out of bed to start my day. Sebastian does not like to nap past 15 minutes so I have NO time to do anything for myself. No pity party here, just giving you some insight. The hospital staff sees it all, I am aware, but they for sure were worried about why I hadn't brushed my hair for awhile.

Christmas Lights.

My little man sleeps 11 hours at night. I love this! I have to get up to give him his pacifier a couple of times, but not a problem. It doesn't matter the time you put him to bed, he gets up at 7am. He will try to get up about 5, and with a passy he goes back down for about 2 hours. Sebastian does not like to nap during the day. Just ask Kenzie. We crack up, because he will pass out and in 15 minutes be up and act as if he slept an hour. This makes him very tired about 5 o'clock. So I walk around the house in the carrier, and get dinner made while trying to keep him up until 7. Sebastian wears 9 month clothes and some of them at too small! Let's remember he is 3 1/2 months old!

This is what I carry Sebastian in at night. Here we were attempting to help Danny hang Christmas lights! Our neighborhood is out of this world with Christmas lights.

Sebastian is 3 months!

I can't get enough of this child's face!! You have been a little sassy lately. Let's just say you like to be held all day, but who could put you down?

I love this picture! He is just a chunk! At his 2 month appointment he was 15lbs!


Aunt Jessie came over to play for two days of madness. She is so good with both of you! She rocked you forever the other night, because you were not happy! We stayed up playing cards, drank wine, and laughed. I so love her!

Sebastian is three months today! He is such a love. I barely let him sleep, because I like to pick him up and snuggle. Last night Mackenzie asked me if she thought I kissed him enough...only because I kissed him probably 200 times before he went to bed.

Sebastian is on acid reflux medicine, just like Cealy was at his age. In fact, they both went on the medicine at the exact same time at 2 1/2 months. I did not want to take Sebastian into the doctor because I knew it meant meds, but after taking him 3 times for spitting up or refusing the bottle I decided to put him on it, and it made a huge difference. Sebastian is very calm, which is good, because Cealy is not so calm at her age. In the morning, after breakfast we play in the book room, and read lots of books so he is already getting excited for books. He smiles at everyone, and if I am talking in the room he will look all around until he finds me...SO yummy this little love is!!

Cealy loves Sebastian to pieces. Today in the car, Sebastian was crying and Cealy said, "Don't worry brother, Cealy is here." She also said, "Mommy, you know Jesus loves me? He loves everyone."

At this point KeKe and I are getting into trouble, because Cealy is so funny, you would like to laugh, but it is not always appropriate. If she does something she shouldn't and I say, "Cealy, you want to go to timeout?" She says, "Umm, yes I do."

Be Content.

To be content is a awfully challenging thing these days. When I visit one of my dearest (yes I did use the word dearest) friend, Faithe, I learn to be content. Faithe and I always have the best talks. She is just like my sisters, Aisha and Mackenzie, and listens unbelieveably well, and that is hard to come by these days. Faithe had four babies in one day six months ago, we call them quads but they are very different and should be called by their names, Presley, Izzy, Miles, and Mason. I get overwhelmed looking in Faithe's sink. Goodness there are too many bottles for me to imagine cleaning. Let's face it, I switched to Playtex drop ins because they are easy to clean and Dr. Browns give me too much work. She has four babies each drinking Dr. Browns but won't complain about the work. Faithe said, "I could get overwhelmed, but today is never going to be like tomorrow and I will be in a different place next month, so I should live in the moment." And she does. Refreshing. She is not Pollyanna because we all know those people are on something prescribed. She is real...but thankful. I love that.

When Ceal naps I think of everything I need to do fast while feeding Sebastian, and playing with him, fast of course then running to get her when she wakes, but today was different. Today I held Sebastian the whole time. I napped with him. I looked at him and thanked God for everything he has given me, instead of asking why I have so many things I feel I need to do. I felt content, and I choose to work harder on being content in every moment. Thanks Faithe.

Halloween!

Who would have ever thought Cealy would be Barney? Goodness she is obsessed and of course I couldn't stop laughing at her costume! Sebastian and I gave candy out with Courtney and Avery. Sebastian is the best baby and just watched all the craziness occur!

Sebastian helped me pass out candy and Cealy went with Danny to get Candy! Nana and Pop came by to see her and got some pictures!

I love this! The girls were given candy all night long! As soon as I got them on the couch to watch a movie, Mr. Donovan decided to sneak them some marshmellows!!

Zoo Boo and a Little Help from Cealy.

Cealy and I painted pictures and then we had to mop the mess up! She is such a good cleaner. Side note- Please notice the potty in the kitchen as it goes most everywhere with us, and she could care less to use it. In fact, as soon as I brought it out and changed her she ran and grabbed a diaper and tried to put it on...This will take a LONG time.

Cealy loves to get into Sebastian's park as she calls it and play, smash, push over, and annoy him. Look at her face compared to his. Poor boy.

"Mommy, I'm sharing with brother." I thought it would be her juice cup which is what I caught her doing last time, but instead she gave him every book and puzzle piece from the book room. His head is stacked next to blocks.

Ella and Cealy at Zoo Boo. Cealy had her Barney costume but refused to put it on. Look at Ella's outfit, it is the cutest! They are such good buddies. Cealy loves her and asks if she is coming over most everyday.


Look at his little love. He is so yummy. He sat in his seat at the Zoo and just took it all in. I love Sebastian too much!

Courtney and Avery. Avery smiles ALL day long. This is why we moved back. Friends and Family are so important, and a day like we had was so much fun!

Ceal's first black eye. She fell down the stairs, and I have never run so fast to get her. I saw the whole thing and was sick to my stomach. She cried until we spanked the stair and told it there was timeout in it's future.

Sebastian is 2 months and gets a visit from my girlfriends!

My precious Sebastian is 2 months. He is the sweetest baby you could lay eyes on. I kiss him roughly 5,000 times a day. One could say I am smothering him, but I would like to say he won't let me kiss him this many times a day very soon. Cealy says, "Mommy holds brother allllllll day long." I laugh, because I do. I hold him every chance I get. I look at him and tell myself to take it all in. He will lay there and just look around the room. This is new for me, because Cealy cried all day, and I can't understand why Sebastian is so calm. One of my girlfriends, Nicole, put it perfectly. "Cealy is you and Sebastian is Danny." Wow, thanks.

I took Sebastian to the doctor on Thursday, because one I take my kids to the doctor if they have the sniffles. I am a bit insane. But two he projectile vomits on the regular and I wanted to make sure he was okay. The doctor, who is a peach, looked at the charts and said, "Well he isn't 2 months until Sunday and he weighs 15 pounds, so I think he is just fine." So there it is. My son is a chunker, and I could not be more obsessed.

Cealy is obsessed too. I took Cealy to the store with me late last night, because I wanted to be with her and I needed to get some things. She wanted to take Sebastian, but I told her he was staying. Then she said she wanted to stay too. Geez, he has us all obsessed.



My girlfriends came to visit this weekend to see Sebastian. They got in Friday night and we drank wine and stayed up until 3:30am laughing and telling stories. I love these girls. They are good friends and made the trip from Chicago just to see Sebastian. I will be friends with them for a lifetime and feel extremely blessed to have them in my life. Greives came late Friday too, and we were just missing Bellotti, because she lives in Minny and the drive is crazy long! We will see her soon!

Cealy has this exact pose when she was a baby! I have to find it and upload both. This is Sebastian, but they both look so much alike!

Cealy talks my ear off constantly. She cracks me up.

She wakes up from her nap last week and is in a sad mood. "What is wrong Cealy, did you have a bad dream?" "Yes, mommy those mean meerkats were sticking their tongues at me."
I was cracking up, because we read a book about wild animals and one page is a bunch of meerkats sticking their tongues out. I told Ceal they were being silly, but she thinks they are mean.

"Mommy, I see a big spider, get him!"--That's my girl!

"Keke loves bees." And then she starts laughing because Kenzie has a phobia of bees.

Let's talk about potty training. Everyone has a tip for good ol mommy when it comes to potty training, and well NONE of them work. Get her a treat when she goes on the potty. So we sit for about 30 minutes and I wave some good chocolate, cookies, brownies in front of your face. "No thanks Mommy," and off you go. Super. I told you that baby was going on the potty. "Look at baby, she is going on the potty and Wow she is a big girl. In your run and whip baby off the potty and say, "Baby loves her diaper." You take her in the other room and put her diaper back on....Maybe next year.

When we go to the store your favorite thing is to walk into someone, yes into someone, and then say, "Excuse me I so sorry." Some people laugh and some do not.

Cealy loves the Hot Dog Dance after Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She dances to it on the reg because I downloaded it. Now she even has Sebastian dancing to it and makes him kick his legs to the song.

Cealy loves books, and can tell you the words that she knows. She memorizes what the book says and reads it to herself. My favorite. The Best Pet Ever is what she reads now and can tell you what it says because we have read it THAT MUCH.
