Almost Eight Months!

You have the most beautiful eyes!

This is where you crawl back and forth.  Your dad and I have set up a fun house for you.

This is where you play all day.  Of course you are playing with the wipes and not the million toys bought for you.

We went to the zoo with a friend in the building and then came to this park across from our home.  We live in the building behind you. 

This is where you and I walk most everyday.  We pass this bridge where there is a beautiful restaurant.  Today your dad, Sammy, and I took you to the zoo.  I look a little insane, but you drove me crazy yesterday and I still have not recuperated.  Ha!

Cecilia, you are almost eight months! You are crawling everywhere and wow is that a new world.  I cannot turn my back for two seconds or you are somewhere you are not supposed to be.  Your favorite toys are NOT toys.  You love all the handles on the coffee table.  You love plugs, outlets, and the rocking chair.  You will play with your wipes container all day! Your dad and I are going crazy! We are leaving tomorrow for Indianapolis to visit our family for a week.  I have been working part time at my school. I love it. It is a break away, but far from a break.  My students are getting old, and their attitudes are a little much, but I missed them too much to stay away! You stay with Jane, your new babysitter, and you seem to love her! This makes me very happy. Although most of the time, it is me and you and we explore Chicago. I am ready for warm weather. I cannot stand the cold here. We walk to the grocery, bookstore, coffee shop, lake, and park.  

7 Months!

Look at her two teeth! She smiles and plays all morning.  Cecilia, you are so much fun!

Aunt Kenzie came to visit. You would snuggle with her and give her kisses!

This is hilarious! When you want to stop eating you just put your head down.  I could not stop laughing.  You would pop your head up, and I would try to give you another bite, but you would quickly put your head back down. 

Six Month Pictures!

We went out to eat to our favorite diner, Francis. All the girls had to see you.  You played with them the whole time, until you became restless and wanted to go home.

Your First Trip!

You played euchre with your dad.  Of course you lost, because Mrs. Poske and I always win!

This is where your dad fed you each morning.  You could look out onto the ocean.  It was such an amazing sight.

  You have already traveled out of the country by 5 1/2 months!  Your first plane flight went great.  You went to sleep before we even took off! We flew into Fort Myers to visit Mamaw and Papaw.  You became Mamaw's little companion and she held you for three days.  After our visit, we drove to Fort Lauderdale to get on the huge ship! We went on a cruise for your Auntie's wedding.  It was a blast! You were the flower girl, and your Auntie designed you the most beautiful dress.  Right before the wedding started, you fell asleep! Your Auntie was so incredibly beautiful and laid back about everything.  She never made a big deal about the details, and made everyone feel so comfortable.  Remember that for your wedding, little missy.  

We were on a cruise ship for seven days, and traveled to St. Martin, St. Thomas, Bahamas, and Grand Turk.  It was a little stressful with a baby, but your dad and mom had so much fun with you.  Your papa (grandpa) bought you an expensive jump station, which kept you occupied while we were in the room!  Your mom and dad were so thankful for that. You slept so well in your little bed in the closet of our small room.  Each night we ate dinner at 8 o'clock and you behaved so well.  You let everyone hold you and then you fell asleep.  What a darling! We were also so thankful for your Aunt Kelly who helped the whole week.  She took such good care of you! We called her our sister-wife because we went everywhere together. Ha!

5 Months!

You just turned 5 months old! Each month is completely different with you. It just keeps getting more fun. You are so smilely now. You definitely prefer to be around people you know. As soon as your dad walks in the door you go crazy! We just had a wonderful Christmas.  Your marm bought you some very fun jumpy toys that you love.  We had to bring them back with us.  You jump all day long and laugh! It was such a good Christmas.  For New Years, Courtney came and took some awesome photos of you.  She should do this professionally.
